MLC ballkids trial at Eaglemont.
Eaglemont Tennis Club hosted our first ever MLC ballkids trial on Saturday 19th March, with over 50 participants trialling out – some of whom were Eaglemont TC juniors.
The day was a great success with Tennis Australia officials and assistant coaches (George Vogiatzis and Tristan Schwaiger) helping to run participants through the various ‘ballkid drills’. It’s also encouraging that Tennis Australia is now utilising local tennis clubs like Eaglemont to get more involved in grass-roots tennis, and to provide juniors with this opportunity to be involved in the Australian Open.
