JUNIOR TENNIS SKILLS PLUS PROGRAM
(AGES 6-11)

If children can improve their tennis skills quickly and progressively, you'll find that that satisfaction, enjoyment and mastery will naturally follow. â€‹In other words, kids will find tennis a lot more fun IF THEY'RE GETTING GOOD AT IT.

The Yarra Tennis focus - to develop the essential skills needed for tennis - and especially the skills required for competition - is the number one goal of the Tennis Starter Plus program.

Enrolment in this program also includes the Friday Night Rally Builder program - a modified matchplay program which is solely designed to provide additional competition experience for this age group.

How does this program get my child ready for competition?

The junior tennis skills program is designed so that students practise all the shots that are needed for playing competitively. This includes the serve, forehand and backhand, volleys and smashes. Competitive singles and doubles games are also used so that juniors develop a sense of what it is like to play with scoring points and games.
